☄ First Impressions

♚ VISUAL: Zatanna is approximately five feet and seven inches tall (5'7"), 130-ish pounds, with a slender build. Her eyes are blue, her hair is long and black and she wears it styled down most of the time. She has a fair complexion.
♚ FASHION: Zatanna largely dresses in black and white, like her stage outfit -- that isn't to say she doesn't ever wear colour (she does!), but she's definitely got some sort of goth/punk theme going on.
♚ DEMEANOUR: Her stage persona is a showy one. Offstage, she's a friendly, bright and lively kind of person. She's also confident and knowledgeable, and doesn't leave a lot of room for that to be misunderstood by others.
♚ AURAL: Nondescript American accent.
♚ OLFACTORY: She uses scents like almond and vanilla.
♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: It's possible for psychics and other magic users to get into her head when she doesn't have shields up. If she is using mental shields, it's just a matter of said psychic or magic user having powers that would overpower her own magic. If you play a character who would be interested or likely to get into her head, please PM me before using their powers on her so we can plot it out!
♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: Any fellow magic users would be able to tell that she is a magician herself as well. Zatanna is a "homo magi".

☄ OOC

♚ BACKTAGGING: Hell yeah.
♚ FACETWINS: If we share a PB, I would prefer it to be addressed by saying they have a similar resemblance but not 100% identical. Mild facetwin shenanigans are fun sometimes, but get rather monotonous after playing it out so many times.
♚ FOURTHWALLING: If your character knows of Zatanna's story from the comics or other media (including CRAUs, if your character knew a version of her in another RP game), sure; they're free to recognize her by appearance and/or name and say so to her. Anything more than that, it's case by case basis -- just PM me and ask! :)
♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Flirting is always fine; she'll probably flirt back. Hugging and kissing are fine as well, especially if you're on friendly terms with her.
♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Totally fine, just be aware she's going to fight back. She will be much more likely to fight back with her abilities than doing something like returning a punch or a kick. I'm okay with most anything, but for anything that would be nearly-fatal/fatal, PM me first just so we can plot it out.
♚ RELATIONSHIPS: I'm pretty open as far as romantic relationships with her go. My favorite DC characters for shipping are Bruce Wayne and John Constantine, and anything cross-canon is awesome and welcomed as well. Zatanna is largely heterosexual, but as long as there's proper buildup and development, bring it on.

☄ Permissions

♚ MAGIC: Zatanna uses her magic by saying her incantations backwards (i.e.: if she wanted to levitate an object, she would say something like "etativel"). Zatanna can do myriad things like heal, conjure items, transform items, manipulate minds, send energy blasts, and control elements.
♚ POWER LIMITATIONS: Her power will not work if your character is immune to magical influences, or if they have magic that can overpower hers and essentially cancel it out.
